Baking for a Cause: Movember and the Mustache Loaf

This November, I’m thrilled to combine my love of bread with a cause that’s close to my heart: men’s health. Through my Movember fundraiser, I baked mustache-shaped sourdough loaves and donated from each loaf sold to support men’s health initiatives. Whether it’s for cancer prevention, mental health awareness, or suicide prevention, Movember tackles key issues that affect men’s lives.

I had the privilege of sharing my story with CBC, where I discussed the craft behind my mustache loaf and the deeper purpose behind this campaign. The interview with Matt Allen was a wonderful opportunity to talk about the power of bread to bring people together around an important cause. I’m excited to invite you to listen to the podcast, and hear more about the inspiration and process behind this fundraiser!

Join the Movement with a Slice of Sourdough

By buying a moustache loaf, you’re not only enjoying a delicious bread but also contributing to an important cause. Every loaf sold helps raise funds for men’s health initiatives, including cancer prevention, mental health, and suicide prevention. I’m so grateful to everyone who’s already joined me on this journey, and I hope to continue spreading awareness and support through this special bread.

Thank you for being part of this Movember campaign with me. If you’d like to hear more about the story, process, and the importance of men’s health, please check out my interview on CBC. And of course, come by for a mustache loaf this month and help support Movember!
